Treasure Valley AAU Sportsmanship Award

The YMCA & AAU Basketball believe strongly in the importance of sportsmanship at all contests. We ask parents, coaches, and referees to serve as role models to the youth of the Treasure Valley and to help create a positive environment at all AAU sanctioned games and tournaments. Each season the YMCA & AAU Basketball choose one team from each grade that we feel best symbolize the YMCA's values of caring, honesty, respect, & responsibility as well as all around sportsmanship, from the parents to the coaches and players. These teams are awarded medals & plaques at the Championship game to honor their hard work and positive attitude throughout the season.

Congratulations to the following teams who demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship both on & off the court during the 2010 AAU Season. Win or Lose; these teams & their fans conducted themselves with the highest level of integrity: 

5th Grade Varsity Girls: Eagle; Coach Rick Dimattio

8th Grade Boys: Nampa – Coach Joseph Ball
