Coach & Player Forms

Coach Application:

Interested in coaching an AAU basketball team? All those who are interested in coaching an AAU team must fill out a 'Coaches Application'.  The application must be filled out for each team and/or season regardless of past participation. Forms must be received by each season's deadline (see below). Simply fill out the form below & fax or mail it to the Homecourt YMCA office (information is listed on the form). Thank you for your willingness to volunteer!!

Coach Application Deadlines for 2009-2010:

See League Details & Guidelines for further selection information. Selected coaches for each season will be listed on the 'Updates & News'. All application approvals are pending until Volunteer Interest Forms are completed and background checks are completed.

Coach Forms: The following forms are also required after a coach has been selected to coach a team. Please print each form, fill out your information and send into the Homecourt YMCA:

The only cost required for a coach is acquiring their 'Non-Athlete AAU Membership' through the National AAU website; cost is $14/year. See below for further information.

Player Registration:

After players have attended tryouts & been selected for a team, they have the option of registering online or giving the following forms (with payment) directly to their coach. If selected for a team, registration cost is $145. This cost includes full uniform, souvenir AAU T-shirt, paid officials and league participation costs. Financial assistance is available; simply print & fill out both the Player Registration & Financial Assistance forms (below) and fax or mail them with a recent paystub or proof of income to the Homecourt YMCA address on the bottom of the form.

 *AAU Membership fees are NOT included in the regular registration fee. Please see the information below to acquire an Athlete AAU Membership.

  Player Online Registration : Once you are transferred, click on 'Online Registration', then scroll down to 'Basketball - AAU'. you'll then have two options:

A) Click 'Sign In' if you have registered online for YMCA programs in the past. You'll be prompted to enter your email address and password. 

OR

B) Click 'Start Here' if you are new to YMCA Online Registration, and follow the instructions.  

*If you are registering a child, please enter the adult/guardian information first, then add your child's information.  Once the registration process is complete, both of you will be YMCA Program Members.  Program Members do not pay membership fees but are now able to add other family members & register online for the wide variety of programs offered through the Treasure Valley Family YMCA.

AAU Membership:

The National Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) requires all coaches & players to be current AAU members in order to participate in AAU sanctioned leagues, games or events. Therefore the Treasure Valley AAU requires all coaches & players to show proof of current membership (AAU Card) prior to their first AAU regular season game.  One-year membership costs are $12/players and $14/coaches. AAU Memberships are attained by printing off the form below & sending it into the National AAU office with payment OR purchasing online by clicking on the link below.  When parents complete the online registration process, they will also have the opportunity to link directly to the National AAU website & purchase their AAU membership at that time.

AAU NON-ATHLETE INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP (Example: Coaches, Asst. Coaches, League Directors & Administration) Coaches may also choose to print off the 'Multiple Player' form and register the entire team with one form.
